Academic Success Achievement Program - an Intro for Parents and Teens

Long-term academic success begins in middle school, with key components including goal-setting and effective learning techniques. In this session, parents and teens will learn about meaningful goal setting from Vera Angyal (Teaching Angel AB), an international educator and coach.

More about the program

The Academic Success Achievement Program (ASAP) by Teaching Angel AB aims to boost student success. This initiative introduces middle-school students and their parents to effective learning strategies and tools to maintain motivation and identify the best methods for each individual. Parents will also receive guidance on making informed educational choices and supporting their children. The program includes online workshops, individual assignments, and one-on-one consultations to empower both parents and students on the journey to academic success.

This event will feature a short presentation on the importance of goal-setting to improve student learning, followed by a Q&A session and discussion with Vera Angyal.

About Vera Angyal

Vera Angyal has over 20 years of experience as an international educator. She has been teaching in Sweden since 2016. She holds a Master’s degree in English Literature and Linguistics, a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language and she is a certified Solution-focused BRIEF coach. She speaks four languages and has worked with dozens of international families over her career. She is an English as an Additional Language specialist teacher and has extensive knowledge about language learning, maintaining the home language, education as well as using solution-focused tools in education.
